The Communications and Marketing Department provides leadership in communications and marketing that supports the ISD 728 strategic plan and its schools, staff and students.
Media releases, information and news are shared through the communications and marketing team as we keep our students, parents, staff and the general public aware of what's going on around ISD 728.
Our focus is a joint initiative between the school district and Community Education. The "communications" side of the department is responsible for communications advice, counsel, training and planning, community and media relations, external, internal and crisis communications, special events, speech writing, marketing and the district website.
The "marketing" side primarily focuses on telling the Community Education story, as well as promoting programs, classes and offerings. The department aligns all projects with the district's mission and Strategic Plan.
For the news media, the Communications Department is your primary source for all inquiries and support. We prepare and distribute news releases and media advisories, research and respond to your queries, set-up interviews and as applicable, act as organizational spokespersons. Our objective is to support you and your organization's news needs with the intent of receiving fair, objective and factual coverage of ISD 728. We appreciate your support and cooperation in initially working through this department.
