Hello! My name is Doris Dockendorf, and I am excited for another year at Twin Lakes Elementary! It is my privilege to work primarily with students in grades K-2, providing social work services for children who receive special education services, as well as students who do not. When I meet with students individually or in a group setting, we work on social skills and coping strategies to help them be the best they can be in school! Some common topics we work on include: grief/loss; family change (death, separation/divorce, adoption, etc.); worry/anxiety; ADHD; autism; and dealing with feelings (sad, mad, etc.).
Please feel free to contact me at anytime either by email or phone. I also work at Meadowvale Elementary; however, I access the same email and voicemail at both schools. If you would like to meet in person, it’s best to email or call and schedule an appointment.
My schedule is as follows:
Twin Lakes: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Otsego: Mondays, Thursdays
