ECFE On Wheels - Home Visit Program
ECFE on Wheels provides home visits for families with children ages birth to kindergarten.
What are home visits? ECFE on Wheels home visits are designed to help children and families prepare for successful experiences in school through a variety of learning experiences. Our experienced, licensed Parent Educators are skilled professionals who are committed to providing you and your child a wonderful, caring, in-home experience. Whether your are new to the community or not, we are happy to come talk with you and design a positive learning experience for all. ECFE On Wheels is provided at no charge to families residing within ISD 728.
ECFE on Wheels is a program that comes to you and is designed "just for you." It features visits to your home (or one-to-one visits at the ECFE center). Visits provide ideas for creative, fun, age appropriate activities, as well as time to discuss questions on kids and family. Information and ideas on child development, parenting and community resources are also available.
Home Visits can include:
- In home parent-child activities
- Individualized Family Plan
- Developmental assessments
- Community resource information and referrals
- Question and answer time

- Indoor playtime
- Information and parenting support
- Single parent classes
- Discovery Learning Preschool
- Yount Parent Program
- Behavior intervention group (B.I.G.)
- On-line resources and links
ECFE on Wheels is part of the ISD 728 Early Childhood Family Education program. ECFE On Wheels accepts referrals from parent, childcare providers and professionals providing services to children. Funding is provided by Wright County Family Services Collaborative and ISD 728 Family and Children's Collaborative.

Our objectives of the ECFE on Wheels Program are to:
Develop, with the parent, an Individualized Family Plan based on the child's and family's strengths and needs.
We help families become more familiar with reources available in our community.
