June 2017

Message from the Principal

  •

Marcia Welch The end of the school year seems to have snuck up on us!  We wish the 8th graders the very best as they are off to the high school. It has been awesome watching them grow and mature over the last three years. We look forward to seeing the 6th and 7th graders next year.

You will see some changes around the building next year. The Media Center is getting new furniture to allow for more flexible seating.  We are also adding sitting areas in the building for students to work on their Chromebooks, which they will receive through the 1:1 initiative next year. Exciting times are ahead for students and staff!

Thank you for all your support this year. It has been a pleasure getting to know many of you. Have a great summer and take care.

  • Talent Show/Ice Cream Social

Students enjoyed some fun end of year activities on Friday, June 2.  Some of the students shared their talents at the talent show held Friday morning. Included was a slide show in honor of our departing 8th graders. We are so proud of our students who performed. Following the talent show, students enjoyed a Dairy Queen Dilly Bar with their lunch.  The afternoon was filled with a social time to sign their yearbooks and autograph books.
