I grew up on a dairy farm (so I know all about those farm smells we have here :-))  I was a Dairy Princess in High School and College (An ambassador for Dairy Farmers.)  (No, I didn't make it to the State Fair where they carve your head in Butter...)

This is my first year with Prairie View as the Technology Assistant.  I graduated Rogers High School in 2013 and since then I have been leading the ISD 728 FIRST Robotics Programs.  In my free time I like to volunteer with weekend robotics events and go up to the cabin.  Prior to working at Prairie View I owned a business that used robots to learn in the classroom.

I grew up in a southern suburb  of MN and then moved to Elk River 19 years ago. My husband, Kent, and I love to go up to Aitkin, MN to spend time with family, fish and kayak. I have a 21 year old daughter, Jenna, who is in her last year of nursing at Gustavus and a 19 year old son, Nolan, who is a sophomore at UMD.  
 
My hobbies are: walking and talking, reading a good book, cooking and spending time at lakehome on Lone Lake. I will turn the big 50 this year.  
 
I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College and then worked in the printing industry in sales/account management for 10 years. After having kids, I worked from home and managed/owned a 17 unit apartment building. I started volunteering at Lincoln Elementary when my daughter was in first grade and then was employed by ISD 728 as a Kindergarten, Instructional, Special Ed and Supervision Asst. for the last 13 years.

I have been an assistant for 12 years. I started at Lincoln Elementary,  then transferred to Twin Lakes Elementary when it opened. I was at Twin Lakes for 10 years, prior to joining the Prairie View team. Before I worked for the district, I was a licensed daycare provider for 12 years. I started my daycare when my oldest was three months old and closed that chapter of my life when my youngest was in 1st Grade. I have four adult children and one grandson, who just turned four.
 
I love spending time with animals. I owned five horses for about 15 years. Now that I've moved into the city I have a puppy. I was hoping to train to her to be a therapy dog, but due to her anxieties I doubt that will happen... I will keep on training....

I have been working in the district for six years. I am married to the best man ever. I have three beautiful girl. My oldest, Bobbi  is 23. She is in college, majoring in communications. I have a 15 year old at Elk River HS, named Torii. My youngest is 10, and a fifth grader at Twin Lakes Elementary.

I am a photographer outside of working at the school. It was a hobby that turned into so much more, and I love it. Our family is very outdoorsy - we hunt (yes all my girls hunt too) and we basically have a zoo - three dogs, two cats, and a horse. We are a busy family (again 3 girls how can we not be). :)

I live in Monticello, MN with my husband, Frank, daughter (15 yrs), and son, (18 yrs).  I was fortunate to be able to volunteer in my children's elementary school when my kids were younger.  Now I am super excited to have the opportunity to assist the teachers at PVEM.  I look forward to a great year working with an amazing staff as we lift up our students to be the best they can be.

I am originally from Coon Rapids, MN.  I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in Teaching Social Studies.   Before coming to Prairie View I was a substitute teacher in ISD 728 and prior to that I taught 10th grade US History.  I love to see students learn and grow and I am very excited to be at Prairie View as the Media Assistant. 


I live in Rogers with my Husband Mike and our 2 kids Abby (8) and Drew (10) and our German Shepherd Holley. We love to travel! We have been to Florida many times as well as London and Paris and we are always planning our next adventure.  In my free time I like to read, dance, and watch my children in all of their activities.

I graduated from Elk River High School many moons ago.  My husband Bruce and I bought our first home in Otsego 29 yrs ago and have never left. We have three adult children who graduated from Rogers High School. I have worked in the school district food service department for 18 years. I really enjoy getting to know students. I enjoy riding my 4 wheeler, camp fires, fishing, deer hunting, and pretty much anything outdoors.

I have worked for ISD 728 for almost 26 years. All with food service. I love being in the kitchen! I grew up in Rogers with my 4 brothers.
34 years ago I married my husband Mike and we have lived in Otsego ever since.  We have 4 boys Michael, Brian, Ross, and Jake. They are all grown now and have given us 4 grandchildren Benjamin, Louis, Charlotte, and Anthony. Hopefully more to come. I enjoy doing things with my family and love to bake. I graduated from Elk River and I keep my level 3 certification for foods up and also keep my Serve Safe up to date.
