  • News and Updates!

Posted by Nicole Rasmussen on 9/13/2019 12:00:00 PM

    Greetings EdVenture Club Staff!

We made it through the first two weeks of school.  Thank you for all of your hard work and for making our program a great place for our kids to learn and have fun!

Here are a few pieces of information to be aware of as we move further into September:

    1)  All Staff Meeting:  Wednesday, September 18th 6:30-8:00pm in the Zabee Theater and ERHS.  This is mandatory for all site leads and child care workers.  Program aides are welcome to attend but it is not required.  We will cover items that we did not cover during the August meeting.  See you all there!

    2)  Staffing updates:  We are still hiring and can use your help!  Please help us by sharing the following link and encouraging people to apply:  http://www.isd728.org/JoinOurTeam.  We do also have a Facebook post that can be shared if you are willing and able.  We appreciate any staff that are willing to pick up extra shifts to fill in the holes so that we can remain in ratio.  And as always we appreciate everyone staying positive and optimistic.  Any help and ideas you can provide are always appreciated!

    3)  Welcome our New Liaison!  We have Mariah Albrecht starting with us on Thursday, September 19th.  She will be serving the Elk River region and replacing Jenny in that role.  You will see her visiting sites when she gets started so we appreciate you welcoming her to our team!

Thank you and we hope you have a great weekend!

  • Happy First Week of School!

Posted by Nicole Rasmussen on 9/6/2019 12:00:00 PM

    Greetings EdVenture Club Staff!

Congratulations on making it through the first week of a new school year!  It has been a great week and the Leadership Team greatly appreciates all that you have been doing to make the start of the school year successful and exciting for our kiddos!

In the coming weeks we will be starting some of our committee work so if you have not responded to Cory's survey indicating your interest in participating on these committees, please plan to do so as soon as possible.  We appreciate your participation!

In addition if you haven't completed the Back to School Procedures Survey, please plan to complete that ASAP as well as the ALiCE training.  If you do not have a link to either, please inform your liaison so that we can get that information to you.  The Back to School Survey link is available on the EdVenture Club site under Resources.

We hope that you all have a restful weekend and we look forward to seeing you back on Monday!

** We are still hiring so PLEASE help us to spread the word.  Split shifts and AM/PM only are available.  Here is the link to the posting:  http://www.isd728.org/JoinOurTeam (postings are listed under Community Education).  Thank you for your help!
