2020-21 School Board Goals
Each board member will participate in at least one training opportunity (i.e. MSBA, NSBA, etc.) throughout the 2020-2021 school year, and share the information learned at a regular Business Meeting. Progress on said goal will be evaluated no later than June 2021.
Each board member will actively engage and participate in at least two (2) of the District's monthly Community Leader Forums throughout the school year. Assess the status and progress of efforts related to the equity as highlighted in the strategic plan. Specifically, the Board will work with Superintendent to review current systems and practices in place as they relate to equity, consider recommendations for change, and allocate resources to ensure we are best meeting the needs of all learners, especially those who are underrepresented. In addition, Board members will participate in Equity Training as highlighted in the New Board Member Orientation Plan. Progress on said goal will be evaluated no later than November 2020.
