  • Greetings Parents and Students,

Please use this link for helpful tips to guide you during your school day either face-to-face here in the building, or when you are at home distance learning.  This school year should and will feel more rigorous than last spring when we were fully distant learning.

We are all in this together and are here to support every student to be successful in every model. Please reach out to a specific teacher, appropriate grade level counselor or appropriate administrator with questions.

    Thank you,

    RHS Administrative Teamxx

Due to COVID-19, there are colleges and universities opting to have “test-optional” or “test-blind” as part of their admission process for applicants who are applying to start in Fall 2021. FairTest has a list of colleges throughout the U.S. that have already chosen this method.

    Testing Opportunities

There are many testing opportunities at Rogers High School.  Some are required, while others are optional.  Please use the  links below to learn more about the different exams, resources and registration information.

    ACT (Juniors)

All Juniors will be taking the ACT for FREE on Tuesday April 13, 2021 and are automatically registered for the test by the school district.  No online registration is needed for this test date.  Click here for further information on additional ACT testing opportunities. See ACT website for registration information and deadlines for other test dates.

How to Prepare for the ACT

Some colleges are going “Test Optional” for the 2021-2022 school year.  Since we cannot predict which colleges will remain Test Optional, we still recommend that students planning to attend a four year college take the ACT.

In the time of a pandemic, preparing for the ACT  looks slightly different.  There are still many opportunities  to prepare AND we recommend that you choose one or more of them to get more familiar with the test questions and the timing/pacing of the ACT.

Please click HERE for information on preparing for the ACT.

Sign up for Virtual College Visits at RHS

Students in Grades 10-12 are invited to attend college visits set up by the College & Career Counselor.  Students can sign up HERE and they will receive an email the day prior to the visit with information about accessing the virtual meeting.

  • Out of Storage Space? Let the RHS Construction students help you!

     Sheds for sale

Purchase the shed material from the local home improvement store of choice and let the RHS Construction program erect the building.  To meet curriculum requirements, shed dimensions are 8' wide x 12' deep or 10' wide x 12' deep.  Both have 8' high walls that offer over 750 cubic feet of storage space.  Each shed includes a 36" x 36" vinyl-clad window and a 6' x 7' steel roll-up garage door providing ample light and a door large enough for your riding lawn mower, patio furniture, and other seasonal items.  Textured, pre-primed LP SmartSide, and cedar trim allow the owner to paint or stain using your chosen color. The owner selects the color of architectural roof shingles and other finish/material options available. New shed construction will begin in early February 2021 at the start of the Construction course.
For more information or to reserve your spot, contact jessica.zoubek@isd728.org or dirk.udee@isd728.org.
