Class of 2021 Senior NHS Members: watch this VIDEO TRIBUTE
Anna Chase and Emma Stock placed in the top ten at the Virtual International DECA Conference in the School-Based Enterprise Food category competition. Competitors submitted a 20-page paper and created a 15-minute presentation. Anna and Emma will receive a cash prize through the event sponsor Intuit.

Section 4AA/5AA Art Competition Results 2021
Twelve Rogers High School students participated in the Section 4AA/ 5AA Art Competition along with 15 other high schools from around the metro area.

Each judge was given the opportunity to choose what they thought was the best work of art in the show. This is the highest award. Two Rogers artists brought home this award.

ISD 728 District Art Display
Congratulations to Elena VonBank and Anastasia Matushenko Their works of art were selected to represent Rogers High School in the District Office Art Display. An image of their original work has been printed and framed to hang in the District Office in Elk River. The work will remain on display for approximately one year. The printed copies of the artwork will then be returned to RHS for display.
Elena plans on going to Hamline University to major in Art History and Chemistry. Her intention is to work in the fields of Art conservation and restoration.
Ana is going to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Her major is undecided, but she is looking at either their Comic Art or Illustration programs.
Student participants were recognized for their artistic accomplishments at a school board meeting scheduled for Monday, May 10, 2021.

RHS SUMMER SCHOOL
- Summer School is fully online
- June 21st through July 16th (No classes July 5-July 9)
- Students have the opportunity to make up a maximum of 3 credits in summer school
- Classes offered in English, Science, Social and Work Experience
- The first round of letters and/or emails were sent to parents regarding summer school registration for their student
- Final summer school registration letters will be sent when 2nd semester concludes
Summer Hours for Guidance Counselors
The Guidance Counselors are available by appointment until June 24th and return to the office on August 16th. Please make sure you connect with them prior to June 24th if you have any questions. Have a great summer!
Class of 2021 - Request Final RHS Transcript via Parchment
Post-secondary institutions require a copy of your final transcript as proof of graduation before you can officially enroll in their institution. Make sure to request your final transcript via Parchment and select “Hold for Grades” if requesting before June 10, 2021, when final grades are posted.

Food Service Meal Account Refunds for Graduating Seniors
For Seniors who are graduating, the Food Service Department will generate a list of food service meal account refunds. Any funds remaining will be applied against other outstanding fees, first, and then a payment refund will be generated.
As in past years, there is still the option to request that the balance in the Senior’s account be transferred to a younger sibling. The balance may also be donated to the District to help other families in need.
If either of these options is of interest to you, please complete the form below on or before June 9, 2021:
If you prefer a refund, please allow 4 to 5 weeks for processing. The refund will be mailed to each household.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding, as we will be processing a large number of refunds during this time.
