DECEMBER 2021
Online728 Families -

Welcome to December! Cold weather is starting to move in and while buildings are gearing up for how to handle the challenges of ice and snow, we at Online728 are just excited to watch the snowflakes! Weather delays and closures will have no impact on Online728 as we continue to offer digital days Monday-Friday!
The newsletter this month introduces a new attendance tool that we hope families find useful. Additionally, we will communicate materials pick up information for K-8 families in December and discuss registration for our High School students.
Thank you for being a part of Online728!

December Materials Pick Up - Wednesday, Dec. 8th
Materials will be available for students to pick up from their teachers on Wednesday, December 8th from 8am until 3pm. Materials can be picked up from Lincoln Elementary school. As the weather continues to get colder, please use the following directions for materials pickup:
Arrive at Lincoln Elementary School (Door #6) and park your vehicle. Please wait inside your vehicle and call 763-241-3400 ext. 5152. State your students name and grade level and we will meet you at the door to collect materials and media center books. This will allow us all to stay warm while we cannot allow visitors in our buildings. Thank you for your understanding.
NEW - Attendance Reporting Form
Reporting student attendance is one of the key components to ensuring your student’s teacher knows how to prepare and support your learner at home. Online728 is excited to announce a new Attendance Form that we hope will streamline the reporting process. Families should report all illnesses and absences using this form daily. Please continue to communicate with your student’s homeroom teacher for any make-up work or modifications. The form will permanently live on our Online728 website under the “Families” tab in our Overview. Thank you for your patience while we have fine tuned this process!
FAST Testing - January
Online728 Elementary and Middle School students will be participating in FAST testing coming in January. These tests are delivered virtually and share valuable information with teachers on student growth. Please advise your student to do their best and limit your support as a learning coach - these assessments are meant to guide our instruction! K-1 students will participate in one-on-one testing in reading and math. More information will be provided by your student’s teacher after Winter Break!
