Hello RMS Families-
As we prepare to wrap up the school year, we need to thank you for your continued support of our students and staff. This school year proved to be challenging as well, in different ways than last year. I have found the quote from Fredrick Douglass to resonate with me these past months, “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.” Your students and all of us at RMS met some obstacles this year and we persevered through and are looking forward to progress. In September we will be welcoming fifth grade students to RMS and our building will be a 5-8 instead of a 6-8 building. We have made a lot of progress in our preparation for the transition and are looking forward to the opportunities it will bring for our entire school.
(If you have not done so already, please send a quick thank you email from you and your student to at least one of the staff members at school this week, as staff are saying goodbye to their classes for this year.)
