2026 Community Survey Report to School Board and District Recommendation

On Tuesday, May 19, Daren Sievers of School Perceptions, Inc., presented findings from the Spring 2026 Community Facilities Survey, conducted by his independent research firm. 

The School Perceptions report broke down several pieces of key information, including number of responses, how people responses, number of ISD 728 families or staff who responded and much more. 

 

ISD 728 Staff Presents New, Comprehensive Proposal to School Board, with Decision to Come Tuesday, May 26

Following the School Perceptions Report, ISD 728 staff delivered a comprehensive plan to adjust several facilities issues across ISD 728, including growth in the southern end of the District, new space for students with specialized needs beyond a traditional classroom setting, and elementary and middle school space for the Rogers and Otsego areas.

2026 Facilities Recommendation 

"We have heard from our families and constituents," said Superintendent Andrew Almos. "We feel like this is a comprehensive solution." 

The ISD 728 School Board will discuss these proposals - and others - when it makes its ultimate decision at its meeting Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
