ISD 728 Receives Positive Review from State 

In July of 2026, ISD 728 received a positive review and comment from the Minnesota Department of Education for the proposed 2026 Referendum, set to be placed on the Nov. 3, 2026, ballot. 

This review and positive feedback from the Minnesota Department of Education is a key step in asking the community for its support of a bond referendum that would help guide the district into 2030 and beyond. 

State law requires the review and comment submission, which gives mandated information related to the bond and possible levy associated with the request to the state. 

The school board will review the material at its September 2026 meeting, to be held at the ISD 728 District Office in Elk River.
