Hundreds Set to Join Ranks of ISD 728 Alumni with Grad Ceremonies

Elk River High graduates toss their caps at graduation

ISD 728 has set graduation ceremony dates for Ivan Sand Community High School and all three traditional high schools - Elk River, Rogers and Zimmerman.

Ivan Sand Community High School will host its annual commencement ceremonies at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 1. Graduation and scholarship presentation will be held in the Zabee Theatre at Elk River High School.

The Online 728 program will also hold its ceremonies earlier that day, with a small gathering set to take place at the District Office in Elk River.

The Class of 2025 from Zimmerman High School will host its commencement exercises in the ZHS gymnasium at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 2.

Rogers High School will keep things rolling with ceremonies Wednesday, June 3. Seating will be in the RHS Field House, with overflow seating available in the PAC. Commencement begins at 7 p.m.

Finally, Elk River High School will host the Elks' Class of 2025 in the gym on Thursday, June 4, with ceremonies beginning at 7 p.m.

"Graduation is the culmination of everything we do," said Superintendent Andy Almos. "If we've done our jobs well, we've prepared these students to contribute to our global communities, our local communities and they're ready for life outside of our walls. It's really a fun week each and every year."

The District's American Indian Education Program held its traditional ceremonies, including a blanket ceremony, on Monday, May 18 at the Handke Family Center. Participants - who will also walk in their traditional high school commencements - were honored in the Handke Gymnasium rather than the Nature Center, due to weather.

Photos from all four commencement ceremonies and the AIEP ceremony will be available on our website soon.

Congratulations to all the members of the Class of 2026!
