Zimmerman One Act Delivers Powerful Message with "Anne Frank"
Zimmerman High School presented The Diary of Anne Frank as their One Act Play this year.
This is the well-known story of a young Jewish girl who writes of her family's experience hiding in the Netherlands from the Nazis during World War II.
The cast and crew of Zimmerman High's production of "The Diary of Anne Frank" participated in the One Act competiton.
It is a poignant piece showing both the struggles of forced confinement and the hopes and emotions of a young girl coming of age. After a public performance,
Zimmerman HIgh School presented the piece at a conference meet in Becker and then at a subsections competition in Princeton. The school, unfortunately, did not advance beyond that level.
