ACT Test
ERHS-The 3/23/20 district provided ACT date for current Juniors was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This district will provide current juniors (19-20) with the opportunity to take the ACT test, free of charge, on October 6, 2020 during the regular student day.
ACT Testing for 20-21 11th grade students will be held on April 13, 2021
College entrance exam based on learned skills and problem solving.
English/Reading/Math/Science
Current ERHS 11th grade students
**all other students should go online to ACT.ORG for testing dates and locations**
Complete the college admission process for 4 year colleges. Qualify for some scholarships.

Testing will be offered on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in person at ERHS.
Career Placement Test
11th & 12th grades
1. Explore vocational interests and aptitudes.
2. Determine armed services training options and placement.

SAT II
Varied sites and varied tests in Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, April, May and June
Individual subject matter tests; required by a few select colleges. Writing/Literature, American History, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, World Languages
Recommended for students interested in East/West coast colleges; grades 10-12.
Students are advised to take tests close to completion of related class
1. Prove competency in a specific area.
2. Used by some colleges for class placement.
AP Tests
May 4- 15, 2020

College Board AP Exams:
Gov’t & Politics, Statistics, Calculus AB, English Literature, United States History, Studio Art, Biology, Chemistry, English Language, Art History, World History, Macroeconomics, Human Geography
Any 9th – 12th grade student who is taking an AP class
1. AP exam grades (if sufficiently high) could earn you credit, placement or both at many colleges and universities.
2. AP exams prepare you to take college-level exams and to measure your level of college preparedness with students around the country.
3. AP exams allow you to earn an AP Scholar Award.
*Space limited. Pre-registration is required.
**Either the ACT. or SAT tests are required for admission to a four year college. Both tests now include optional writing tests required by some 4 year colleges.
