    All high-school athletes wishing to compete in college must register with the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Clearinghouse. Click on the link to reach their website.  After registering online, request a transcript through our online transcript service http://www.parchment.com/

    NCAA Information

    DIVISION 1

    Students must have 16 core courses:

    4 years of English

    3 years Math

    2 years of Natural Science (Computer Science does not count)

    1 additional Eng/Math/Science

    2 years Social Studies

    4 years of additional core courses (English, Math, Natural Sciences, Social Studies, Foreign Language)

    Current GPA 2.0 in core courses - if our courses are approved and indicated as a weighted grade they will get that credit.  Starting Fall 2016, students must have a 2.3 core course GPA.

    Student must have completed 10 of the 16 courses by the start of their senior year, 7 of the 10 must be in English/Science/Math.

    Superscore the ACT which means to add all four best subscores together.

    Repeated courses:  Depends on when the courses were originally taken and when they were repeated. 

     

    DIVISION 2

    3 years English

    2 years Math

    2 years Natural Science (Computer Science does not count)

    3 years of additional English/Math/Science

    2 years Social Studies

    4 years of additional core courses

    GPA 2.0 in core courses

    Minimum 68 on ACT - Superscore the ACT which means to add all four best subscores together.

    Starting Fall 2018 must have a 2.2 core course GPA and a sliding scale (actually 2 scales...one is a full qualifier and one is a partial qualifier)

    Repeated courses: the higher grade prevails no matter when it was taken

     

    DIVISION 3 - Cannot give athletic scholarships.
