    WHAT IS IT?  Evaluation of student competence in application of processes and concepts of the state graduation standard.

    WHO TAKES IT?  Students in Biology and AP Biology

    WHY TAKE IT?  Identify district and school strengths and weaknesses

     


    ACT

    The ACT is a college entrance exam which is typically taken by students as a junior in April or June is required by many four-year colleges. 

    Areas tested: English/Reading/Math/Science and Writing

    ACT No Writing:  $52.00

    ACT Plus Writing (recommended):  $68.00

    A reminder that all RHS Juniors will be given the opportunity to take the ACT plus Writing on March 24,2020 at Rogers High School (pre-registration is not required).

    PSAT

    ABOUT THE PSAT 

    A Preliminary SAT designed to: 

    • Give you feedback on academic strengths/weaknesses and preparedness for college 
    • Compare self to other four-year college bound students 
    • Enter the National Merit Scholarship competition (when taken as an 11th grader) 
    • Help prepare for the SAT 

    WHO SHOULD REGISTER FOR THE PSAT? 

    • Sophomores:  We recommend the PSAT for (incoming) Grade 10 students whose class rank is in the top 10%, but it is open for anyone.  
    • Juniors:  We recommend the PSAT for (incoming) Grade 11 students whose class rank is in the top 20%, but it is open for anyone.  

    INSTRUCTIONS TO REGISTER

    2. A fee ($18) will be assigned to Revtrack (beginning in September). Must pay fee by 10/7/19 to be eligible to take exam.

    All Juniors will be taking the ACT for FREE in the spring of 2020 at RHS.

    There is no need to register for the test offered at RHS.

  • 2018/2019 AP EXAMS --  May 7-24, 2019
    COST:  $54 per test


    ONLINE TEST REGISTRATION BEGINS: 
    Open now, payment thru RevTrak

    ONLINE EXAM REGISTRATION ENDS:  March 22, 2019 at noon

      

    • Register and make payment online using RevTrak.

    Go to www.isd728.org, under Families, select Online Payments, click on RevTrak, under

    Shop click on School Fees and enter your student or parent UserName for Parent Portal and

    student’s DOB.  Click on the AP exam(s) you want to take and make payment via a credit card.

    • If you are on Free/Reduced lunch, talk to your AP teacher or Anne Bartus in the Guidance Office to register for your exam(s).
