Hello, my name is Meghan Carlson! I grew up in small town New London, Minnesota. I went to college at Minnesota State University Moorhead. After graduation I moved to Uptown Minneapolis and plan on living there for awhile. I am fortunate to be part of a loving family of 5; my parents, Paul and Becky, and my two older brothers, Nick and Nathan. Throughout highschool and college I had the privilege of teaching, playing with, and learning alongside children with special needs. In addition, I coached competitive gymnastics. Teaching Kindergarten is and always has been my dream job! 

My hobbies include: just about anything I can do outside, yoga, writing poetry, bible study, and spending time with my family and friends. Fun fact: I went on a study abroad tour in Finland to research their education program!

I grew up in Zimmerman with my two brothers and parents. I have had the privilege of being an ISD 728 student as well as an ISD 728 educator! My husband and I live in Elk River and we are enjoying our first year of marriage. 

Hobbies/Fun Facts: Reading books (lots of books!), going to movies, taking bike rides around Elk River with the hubby, and spending time with my family. Fun Fact: I knew I wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher when I was in Kindergarten!

I am married, and have 4 beautiful children, Sydney, Mason, Brooklyn, and Asher.  I love being both a mom and teacher.  I have been in the childcare/education field since I was 16.  I feel so blessed to know what I wanted to do early in life, so I could make that dream come true!  Teaching young students is my passion. 

Fun Fact: I can wiggle my ears without using my fingers:)
