I live in St. Michael with my husband Will and 3 kids (8, 6, and 3).  We have a puppy named Olive and a three legged cat!!! My husband is from England so we like to travel and spend time with family and friends.  I also love to read and spend time outside!  I went to SCSU, studied in England and then completed my masters at St. Mary's.  I have taught k-2 for 14 years!  I couldn't imagine a better job- I learn something new everyday and hope to instill the love for learning in ALL of my students.

I taught at Otsego my first year of teaching then I moved to Twin Lakes for the next 11 years. I am so excited to be back in Otsego, at Prairie View elementary and middle school. I am married and have 3 beautiful boys. One of my favorite places is Grand Marais!

This is my 16th year of teaching! I taught in the Robbinsdale School District for 14 years, which is also the district I grew up in! I began my teaching career as a middle school special education teacher (Plymouth Middle School), and decided to move to the elementary general education setting after my first year. I was then at Forest Elementary for the following 13 years where I taught 4th grade (3 years), 5th grade (2 years), and then 1st grade (8 years).
 
After moving from Crystal, MN to Otsego and commuting for 4 years, I decided to switch school districts, which was terrifying for me! Leaving my Forest family and friends was extremely difficult, but I have found my new home in the Elk River School District! I was lucky to teach 2nd grade at Otsego Elementary last school year, and am beyond excited to begin my next adventure here at Prairie View! 2nd grade is DEFINITELY my favorite so far! I have 2 daughters (who both attend Prairie View - 2nd grade & kindergarten), and a husband who teaches special education and coaches baseball at Maple Grove High School. 
 
In my free time, I love to read, spend time with my family and friends, go to the cabin, spend time outdoors, watch movies, and play softball and volleyball!

This is my sixth year teaching, and I love helping kids discover cool new things!  I have two daughters and one large cat named Pete. Our family loves to go camping and play outside together.
