Digital Health and Wellness

  • Digital health and wellness refers to physical and psycho-social well-being in a technological world. Given the ever-increasing frequency with which students use technologies, particularly in their school and personal lives, health and wellness are areas that need to be addressed in the interest of developing well-balanced digital citizens.

Below are some helpful resources on monitoring your student's technology use.

  • INTERNET SAFETY
Includes but is not limited to: system security, password security, privacy settings and content filtering.

  •

  • SCREEN TIME
The amount of time spent using a device such as a smartphone, computer, television, or video game console.

  • CYBERBULLYING
Using the internet, phones and social media to deliberately and repeatedly intimidate, threaten, embarrass, harass or hurt another person.

  •

  • DIGITAL REPUTATION
With each account created or online interaction had, we leave behind a “digital footprint” and, by doing so, develop our “digital reputation.”
