-
Graduation is an exciting occasion and we want the best program for our students and families. We want to continue the tradition of excellent graduation ceremonies here at Elk River High School! To promote this, we have carefully outlined some important information. Students are not required to attend the ceremony. Diplomas will be handed out to the students by ERHS staff. PSEO students will NOT receive their diploma until all credits are received by ERHS from the post-secondary institution.

CLASS OF 2023 - READ CAREFULLY!!
Report to your ADVISORY teacher today to pick up your cap/gowns and academic awards BEFORE you go to your assigned location for the Senior Farewell Tour.
IF you have PSEO/ONLINE/OTHER as your Advisory teacher, you will pick up your items in the Main Office (location change). When you come to the Main Office, check in with Mrs. Kathy Lindner to pick up your name tag, then you will pick up your cap/gown with Mrs. Bartlett.
QUESTION: What if I did not attend elementary school in ISD728? ANSWER: You have been assigned an elementary school so you are able to attend this amazing experience.
REMINDER - - There are no HONORS items in your pick up today. No Honors tassels, high honors stoles, or NHS cords. These are handed out at graduation rehearsal on Thursday, June 8th at 7:30am because they are determined on your cumulative grade point average AFTER your 8th semester grades are posted. NO EXCEPTIONS!
REMINDER ABOUT TICKET INFORMATION:
- All obligations/fees MUST be cleared to receive tickets.
- Each graduate will be given FOUR (4) guest tickets to the ceremony in the Main Gym. Anyone attending the ceremony must have a ticket, regardless of the guest's age. - All tickets will be handed out to the graduates at graduation rehearsal on Thursday, June 8th, 2023.
- Handicap seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
- All ISD 728 Graduations will be streamed live. The link will be live 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony: www.isd728.org/Livestream-ElkRiver

HOW DO I FIND OUT IF I PURCHASED A CAP/GOWN FOR MY SENIOR?
- Orders were completed November 2022 through the Campus Portal School Store. You can look in your payment history to see the purchase information.
- If you do not see an order there, please check your FEES tab to see if one was ordered later with Mrs. Bartlett.
- If you DO NOT see an order in either place, please email Mrs. Bartlett directly to verify or order (limited extras on hand): jennifer.bartlett@isd728.org.

Class of 2023 - ISD728 Google Takeout - Moving @isd728.org Google data to Personal Google account
Moving @isd728.org Google data to a Personal Google account.
The situationISD 728 School District provides you with an @isd728.org Google Apps for Education account while enrolled as a student or employed as staff. This account works very much like a regular Google Gmail account but is owned and managed by the school district. Over the course of your time here you will end up with a collection of emails, contacts, calendars, documents, etc that you may wish to take with you when you leave ISD 728 School District.
Since ISD 728’s Google Workspace for Education is limited to enrolled students and current employees, user accounts are turned off a short time after students and staff leave. This is done to meet licensing, security and support requirements. Google Takeout into a free gmail or paid Google Workspace account is the way to go once you part ways with the school district, but you have a limited time frame to get your stuff before it is gone.
Graduating students and those leaving the ISD 728 School District will have limited access to their accounts up until August 1st, at which point all those accounts will be removed from the school system. Staff will have about 30 days after their last work day (contact IT for access after that). Any student or staff wanting to export their content must do so before this date.
If you do not wish to take any of this content with you, you don’t need to do anything. Your content will be automatically deleted after the expiration date.
If you want to take some or all of your content with you, follow the instructions to move your school Docs to a personal Gmail account.
Moving your school Google Docs to a Personal Google Account
Moving your Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and any other files can be done fairly simply using a Google service called Takeout. It allows downloading your stuff to a zip archive file as a backup, which you can then upload into a personal google apps account. Here’s how:
Option 1 Copy content from your school account to another account
Available for Grade 12 students and all staff.
Option 2 Download your Google data (to allow uploading to another account)
Available for all students and staff.
Linked Accounts consideration: If you Sign In with Google for personal services like Apple iCloud, Pokemon Go, XBox Live, etc, they will become inaccessible once your school account expires. Login to your other accounts and switch them to a personal account to prevent losing access. You can see which sites use Google Account sign-in prompts by visiting here:
