Registration Process

  • 23/24 Music Registration OPENS on MARCH 10 for our current 5th & 6th grade students

    The Registration window opens on Friday, March 10th and will close on Friday, March 17th. We ask that you take a few minutes to go over the options with your student(s) and then register in Campus.

    Directions to register are below. IMPORTANT: Only select ONE class (unless choosing Combo). It is also important that you select the correct grade appropriate class/section when registering.

    Parent/Guardian Registration Steps:

    1. Discuss with your student which class they prefer
    2. Log into Parent Portal – select your student
    3. Click on “Course Registration - 23/24 - Rogers Middle”
    4. Click on “Course Search tab”  (on top)

    Current 5th Grade Families - Select from these options:

    5. Search by course name/number – choose only ONE of the following options

      • Band Only - course number 655
      • Choir Only - course number 656
      • Band Choir Combo - course numbers 657 & 658 (need to register for both)
      • General Music - course number 659

    6. Select a course 

    7. Click on – “Request This Course”

    5th graders choosing Band: You will receive additional information including instrument selection information in the next few weeks. 

    Current 6th Grade Families - Select from these options:

    5. Search by course name/number – choose only ONE of the following options:

      • Band Only - course number 755
      • Choir Only - course number 756
      • Band Choir Combo - course numbers 757 & 758 (need to register for both)
      • Study Hall - course number 908

    6. Select a course 

    7.   Click on – “Request This Course”

    If you make a mistake, click on the course title under the “Requested Courses” heading, and then click on “Drop This Request”. 

    Schedules will be available on student and parent portal the day of open house.

    • Due to constraints on creating a schedule, we will not take teacher requests. 

    • Every effort will be made to accommodate class selections that are entered into Campus but are not guaranteed.
