In July, the National Association of Elementary School Principals recognized Dr. Heidi Miller as the National Outstanding Assistant Principal(NAESP) for 2022. This was followed by her recognition in February by the Minnesota Elementary School Principals Association(MESPA) as the MN Outstanding Assistant Principal for 2022. She has served in the Anoka Hennepin School District as an assistant principal, and is a 2014 graduate of Bethel University, where she earned her doctorate in educational administration and her master's degree in literacy education. In addition to  being an early literacy expert, she is also a published author, educational speaker, presenter, and board member of the Twin Cities Area Reading Council.

Dr. Miller's focus is to listen, learn, and work collaboratively towards our agreed-upon goals and desired outcomes for our school and community. Her motto:  'What is best for students?  What is best for staff?  What is best for Hassan?' demonstrates a leader continuously reaching for the best version that we can be. She believes school to be a place where students and staff look forward to going to each morning, where we are a FAMILY! Her open door policy will always be to meet the needs of the family and community leaders of Rogers, so please call anytime to speak about your hopes for Hassan.
