• If inclement weather forces District 728 to close, or dismiss early, one of the following announcements will be made:

    Two Hour Late Start - means that ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education), ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education), Community Education morning classes or activities, including EdVenture Club, will be cancelled; all after school and evening classes and activities will meet as scheduled.

     

    No School - means morning and afternoon K-12, ECFE, ECSE classes will be cancelled. All Community Education after school activities, as well as the morning and afternoon EdVenture Club will be cancelled. Evening Community Education and ECFE classes are NOT automatically cancelled - a decision on evening classes will be made and announced by 2:00 p.m. on the radio/TV stations listed below.

     

    Emergency Early Dismissal - means all K-12 students will be sent home at the announced time, and ECFE, ECSE classes for the balance of the day (afternoon and evening) are cancelled. All Community Education after school and evening classes, as well as EdVenture Club, will be cancelled for the remainder of the day.

     

    Cancelled classes will be made up or rescheduled if necessary.

     

    Cancellation announcements will be made on WCCO (830 AM), KSTP-TV (Channel 5), KARE-TV (Channel 11).
