Former ISD 728 Superintendent Dr. Dan Bittman has been named as the recipient of the 2025 Distinguished Service Award by the Minnesota Association of School Administrators for his work in innovation and building community in education.

At its regular Board Meeting in early January, the ISD 728 School Board took time to honor and present certificates to student leaders from around the District, continuing a time-honored tradition.

Rogers High School welcomed all-conference choirs, bands and orchestras to its halls for the two-day Northwest Suburban Conference music festival February 2 and 3.

Salk Middle School again has been named a National Merit School of Excellence by Magnet Schools of America, the national association for magnet and theme-based schools.

The ISD 728 School Board welcomed three new members at its 2025 Organizational Meeting Monday night, Jan. 13, 2025, at the ISD 728 District Office in Elk River.

After leading Rogers to three state tournaments and four straight Section 8-4A Championship matches, Royals senior Anya Schmidt has been honored as the Gatorade Minnesota Volleybal Player of the Year for 2024-2025.
