Audit Reports

Each year, District 728 receives an independent audit that includes four reports: the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), a Management Letter, a Special Purposes Report and an Extra-curricular Student Activity Report.

Annual Comprehensive Financial Report

Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, prepared by the district Finance Department, describes in financial terms the position and operating results of the District, presented in three sections: introductory, financial and statistical.

Management Reports

Management Reports are prepared by an independent auditor, in conjunction with the annual audit of the school district's financial statements, to communicate information relevant to the financing of public education in Minnesota and to provide comments resulting from the audit process.

Special Purpose Audit Reports

Special Purpose Audit Reports are prepared by an independent auditor annually to audit financial statements, each major fund, and aggregate remaining fund information, which collectively comprise the District’s basic financial statements.
