Each school health office is staffed by a Health Services Assistant (HSA) who is certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED use. Working under the supervision and delegation of a Licensed School Nurse (LSN), the HSA provides daily support by delivering first aid and illness care, administering medications, assisting with specialized health procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation of student health records. HSAs are vital members of the school health team and play a critical role in promoting student safety, supporting chronic health needs, and responding to health-related concerns throughout the school day.
