2025-2027 Negotiations

ISD 728 and its employee labor groups share a mission to educate, inspire and empower our nearly 15,000 diverse learners, to shape their futures, to accomplish their dreams and to contribute positively to our local and global communities. To support this mission, ISD 728 has adopted the following principles and priorities for guiding the 2025-2027 Negotiation Process.

PRIORITIES FOR 2025-2027 NEGOTIATIONS:

• Facilitating dialogue and fulfilling responsibilities in a transparent and professional manner, with honesty and integrity.
• Working within the budget parameters established by the School Board and Department of Education, which focus on funds that are currently available.
• Maximizing the amount of time staff are working directly with students to meet needs identified in the District’s Strategic Plan.
• Providing accurate and up to date information about negotiations with staff, leadership and our communities.
