Overview
Research & Assessment
The Department of Research and Assessment coordinates district and state assessments, then using this data we provide current information on student academic progress to our schools. This enables our educators to make appropriate decisions in providing each of our students a world-class education.
Our department facilitates the district assessment program for students in grades kindergarten through 12. We also provide support to schools in the form of analyzing student assessment data to make decisions. In addition, we provide leadership and support to increase student achievement by collecting and analyzing perception data, identifying and monitoring student enrollment records and growth trends, and providing support to our home school and homeless families.
Key leadership and support responsibilities for our department include:
- Facilitating implementation of the District Assessment Program
- Providing public accountability through the annual World's Best Workforce Report
- Monitoring student enrollment and publishing the district’s annual Census
- Home school and homeless student registration and information
