Transportation

• Bus routes, stop times, and pick up and drop off locations are available in Parent Portal. Once logged into Parent Portal, using the menu, look under "More" and then "Transportation." Once that screen loads, make sure that you have the correct student selected (upper right hand corner of the screen) and then you should be able to view the information.
• Split households, Northwest Suburban riders, or those with pre-arranged transportation circumstances may not be shown. If you do not see bus details and you have recently submitted a transportation form, please keep checking Parent Portal for that information to be loaded.  Once a route is shown, your student can begin riding the next day.

• Families are welcome to check for any missing items that may have been left on ISD 728/Vision school buses. Please contact Vision at (763) 441-4420. 
• Items should be claimed at Vision Transportation, located at 12508 Elk Lake Road NW, Elk River during normal business hours.
• Periodically throughout the year, any items that are unclaimed are donated locally.

Until routes have been established, it is very difficult to determine the exact bus stop time and location. Once routes have been set up for the current school year, information is available through:

• Login to Campus Parent Portal
• Click on 'More' and then 'Transportation'
• This will show the bus route, stop time and location that your student is currently assigned to.  
• If busing details are not showing, your student has not yet been assigned to routes.  Please continue to transport your student until details are showing.

Community Education’s EdVenture Club offers childcare at ISD 728 elementary schools.  Many sites fill up fairly quickly, so be sure to prepare and register early.  

If you have not yet registered your student for EdVenture Club or have been placed on a wait list AND your back up plan involves District transportation, we strongly encourage you to complete a Student Transportation Information Form to request busing before the June 30 deadline.  

• Students that attend EdVenture Club during the afternoon at Zimmerman Elementary and attend school at Westwood Elementary MUST complete a request for District transportation.
