I am new to the District and will need transportation. How do I make sure you have the information? 

After enrollment is approved by the school your student will attend, you will receive an email for Parent Portal.  Once that is received please navigate to the Student Transportation Information Form survey and submit the information (see below for location). We will work to place your student on a bus as soon as possible. 

My student is returning and I have not yet completed a transportation request. What do I do?

At this time we are finalizing routes for all currently enrolled student requests received before the June 30, 2024 deadline.  All requests received July 1 and after are processed in the order they are received. We will work to add your student as quickly as possible, however,  please plan to transport your student to and from school until details are shown in Parent Portal. 

When will I know what my students bus information will be? 

Watch for an email from the District the week of August 16, 2024 letting you know when transportation information will be available in Parent Portal and StopFinder. 


ISD 728 Transportation is continually working to create more efficient bus routes and we need your help to ensure the bus is ready for your student in the fall by completing a 2024-2025 Student Transportation Information Form.

By letting us know the plan for your student before the school year starts, it will help the district address the ongoing bus driver shortage and continue to create more efficient and sustainable bus routes.  

Completing a request is especially important for students that will:

  • Ride the bus in the 2024-2025 school year, when they previously have not been riding,
  • Change schools (moving from elementary to middle school or middle school to high school),

  • Move over the summer months,  

  • Have a daycare location that is changing, or

  • Be in grade 11 or 12 and need to utilize the bus next year.

This process will not change Bus Riding Eligibility for students but will require parents/families of students in grades kindergarten through 12 to declare how their student(s) will get to and from school. 

A 2024-2025 Student Transportation Information Form must be received by June 30, 2024 to ensure that bus assignments will be ready to start the school year.

To complete a request, the parent/guardian should

  1. Login to Campus Parent Portal 
  2. Select 'Message Center' (left-hand menu)
  3. Select 'Surveys' (main menu)
  4. Complete 2024-2025 Transportation Survey (complete one form per student)

Request forms received July 1, 2024 and after may not receive a bus assignment to start the 2024-2025 school year. See important dates below.    

Transportation route information for next school year will be available in mid-August 2024.
