Virtual Summer Camp READING Adventure

Dear Twin Lakes Families,
Summer is almost here and we are excited to share a Virtual Summer Camp READING Adventure, a
very special program for all children and families this summer.

Virtual Summer Camp Adventure is a twelve-week virtual camp with six bi-weekly themes around
Tales and Tails, the national summer reading campaign.

We will celebrate Fairy and Tall Tales, Sports Tales, Scary Tales, Pet Tales, Zoo Tales and Exotic
Animals. Each of these camp themes will have a wonderful choice board filled with reading, learning,
making, outside adventures, exercise, cooking, coding, technology and a Buncee Challenge will be
included with each too.

Each choice board will also include 20 FREE Capstone Interactive eBooks per theme. That is 120
FREE eBooks for summer reading, which will be available from May 31-August 30, 2021. There will
be a variety of formats, fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels and chapter books, for all ages, TK to 6th
grade.

To go along with each weekly Virtual Summer Camp Adventure theme, Buncee has created new
stickers, animations and fun reading activity templates. These will inspire lots of ways our learners
can create, write, research and share what they learn and read throughout the summer.

On May 31, 2021, your children can access the Virtual Summer Camp Adventure at
http://capstonepub.com/camp with no special username and password.
Students can check back throughout the summer for the bi-weekly choice
boards and resources.

We are so excited about this special summer adventure and we can’t wait for you and your children to
take it with us too.

If your child does not want to create a Buncee - (similar to Google Slides - but includes many fun
stickers and backgrounds to create!) Kids can just READ THEIR HEARTS OUT!

Here’s to a happy and memorable summer full of adventures,

Twin Lakes Students……. Continue to READ YOUR Hearts OUT this
summer!
