TECHNOLOGY SITE VISITS: Want to see what other teachers are doing in their classroom with technology? OR do you do something cool that others would love to see and use? Sign up to visit or be a host. Visit dates are Friday, Oct 11th, Monday Oct 14th and Tuesday Oct 15th.

Choice Boards for E Learning Days: Our district wants everyone to have a choice board published for parents and kids to work on when school is cancelled. The deadline for having the choice boards completed is November 4th. All choice board templates are currently linked on the eLearning website,
Please talk in your PLC groups about this topic. I have attached some examples that were used in Robbinsdale. If you want we can put our district logo on these and send out rather than re-creating the wheel. If your team wants to do something different go ahead!!
Team Meeting Date: Reminder that the IEP team meeting date is what you have to use when determining when to hold the next IEP meeting. YOu must meet on or before that IEP date the following year. Once you have an IEP meeting, you have 10 school days to write the IEP. The IEP written date should match the date you send the PWN to parents. The Proposed start service date should be 14 calendar days after the PWN date.
Example: you have an IEP that is dated 10/2/2018, you must meet on or before 10/2/2019. If you meet on 10/2/19, your IEP written date and PWN date should be 10.16/19. The proposed start service date on the IEP should then be 10/30/19.
Assistant Trainings: Coaches will be providing pyramid model training to assistants Monday October 14, 21, 28 from 12:00-12:30 in room 111. This is a required training for ALL assistants. There will be a google hangout option. I have also sent out a survey to assistants to improve our training process for new peoople
SAP Goal and Equity PD: Kristin Hall from Teaching and Learning will be coming out to give some PD around our Site Action Plan and social emotional learning goals. She is coming to Handke October 7th from 1:30-2:30. This is for all Teachers.

If you have a student that is exhibiting behaviors that you are concerned about or would like extra assistance with problem solving around those behaviors you would first reach out to your CEM coach. Follow this High Five Behavior Flow Chart to determine what your next steps are. Here is a flow chart that breaks the process down further Behavior Intervention Flow Chart
DD Eligibility Criteria: The areas that gave the qualifying scores simply establish eligibility. There may be other delays or, as your pointed out, new areas of concern are identified as the child develops. Under the DD category you may address all needs, whether or not they were in the domains that established eligibility.
Open Enrollment Form: There is a new Open Enrollment form that should be used. If you are sending this to families please use this updated form that can be completed online Open Enrollment Form.
Sped data requests: These need to be done any time a student enters your caseload, exits your caseload or has a setting change so that enrollment settings match between campus and sped forms
SPED Forms: Reminder that ECSE Case Managers need to finalize EVERYTHING in sped forms. We have had numerous files that have lost information, such as PWN’s or IEP’s across the district, because they weren’t finalized. We are asking previous case managers to go back in to fix what has been lost.
