ISD 728 High Schools Hold Commencement Ceremonies

It was a very special few days around ISD 728 June 6 through June 9, as graduation ceremonies were held at Ivan Sand Community High School, Zimmerman High, Rogers High School and Elk River High, putting a fitting end to the 2016-2017 school year.

Messages from speakers and fellow students centered on the future, on hope, and on lifelong learning beyond the halls of high school.

“One thing that I’ve gained,” said Ivan Sand graduate Alisha Ecklund, “is an ability to ask for help. You’re not going to do this all on your own. Sometimes, you have to stop, and realize there are people here who are ready to help you on your way. No one gets left behind.”

Congratulations to the Class of 2017. You have left your mark here in so many ways, and we are very proud of all of you.
