Rogers PAC the Star on Opening Night

As far as opening nights go - it was a resounding success. Not a bad review to be seen.

The Rogers High School Performing Arts Center, itself, took center stage Monday, Oct. 30, as ISD 728 and the RHS community celebrated the completion and opening of the district’s newest theater, made possible by voters in the 2014 election.

The night featured performances from the 728 Cadets, the RHS Wind Ensemble, the concert choir, and cast members from the RHS projection of “The Little Mermaid: The Musical” which will light up the stage starting Thursday, Nov. 9.

Special guest in attendance for the grand opening event included members of the building committee, the ISD 728 School Board, Superintendent Dan Bittman, former Superintendent Mark Bezek and many more that made the building a reality.

Buildings Director Tom Baranak made a short speech and was honored with an ovation as the construction project made possible by the 2014 vote came to its close.
