ISD 728 will welcome students and families back to school buildings at the end of August, and in some cases, even earlier, as we prepare to kick off the 2022-2023 school year.

All students are invited to Open Houses in their school buildings for a quick tour, a visit with staff and a quick preview of the school year. Check for information from your specific school about what the afternoon/evening includes for your student(s).

Here’s a look at the Open House Schedule:

TUESDAY, AUG. 23, 2022

• Rogers High School LINK Orientation – 5 to 9 p.m. for incoming freshmen. 

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 24, 2022

• Zimmerman Middle School Grade 6 Open House (following orientation) - 5 to 7 p.m.
• Prairie View Middle School (new building) - Where Everyone Belongs (WEB) from 8 to noon for Grade 5 and Grade 6. Tours, locker introductions, and activities for all involved. More info is coming soon.  
• Rogers Middle School - Grade 5 Where Everyone Belongs (WEB) from 8 to 11:30 a.m. 

THURSDAY, AUG. 25, 2022

• Rogers Middle School - Grade 6 Where Everyone Belongs (WEB) from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

TUESDAY, AUG. 30, 2022

• Otsego Elementary – 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. for families last name A-K, from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. for families L-Z.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 31, 2022

• Meadowvale Elementary – 5:30 to 7 p.m. (all families)
• Parker Elementary – 5 to 7 p.m. (all families)
• Prairie View Elementary – 5 to 5:45 p.m. for last name A-K, 6:15 to 7 p.m. for L-Z families.
• Rogers Elementary – 5:30 to 7 p.m. all families.
• Twin Lakes Elementary – 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. for kindergarten and new families, 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. for all returning students.
• Westwood Elementary – 5 to 6:30 p.m. for all students Grade 3 through 5.
• Zimmerman Elementary – 4:30 to 6 p.m. for all families
• Online 728 – Virtual sessions from 4 to 5 p.m. for all K-8 students, 5 to 6 p.m. for all high school students.
• Elk River High School – all grades 5 to 8 p.m., targeting freshman families.
• Rogers High School – all grades from 5 to 7:30 p.m., freshman families from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
• Zimmerman Middle/High School – all grades 7 through 12 from 4 to 7 p.m.
• Salk STEM Magnet School – all grades 6 through 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
• VandenBerge Middle School - all grades 6 through 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. Please be aware of parking changes. 

THURSDAY, SEPT. 1, 2022

• Hassan Elementary School – 5 to 5:45 p.m. for all students last name A-K, from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. for last name L-Z.
• Lincoln Elementary School – 5 to 6:30 p.m. for all families.
• Rogers Middle School – 4 to 7 p.m. for all Grade 5 and 6 families, 5 to 8 p.m. for all Grade 7 and 8 families.
• Ivan Sand Community Middle/High – 4 to 6 p.m., targeting new families/students.
• Prairie View Middle School (new building) - 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. from 4:30 to 5:30 for families with last names A-H, 5:30 to 6:30 for last names I through Q and 6:30 to 7:30 for last names R-Z, if possible. 
• COMPASS Transition Program - Open House from 4 to 7 p.m. on 2nd Floor of ISD 728 District Office, 11500 193rd Ave. NW, Elk River. 

Please note: We will update this list as more buildings announce their open house times/dates. Also, construction at VandenBerge Middle School has our open house time/date at that building up in the air – but we will announce that info soon.
