Over the past three weeks, Elk River DECA had 16 students (7 projects) competing in the International DECA Competition. In a normal year, they would have traveled to Anaheim, California, but due to restrictions this year's conference was held virtually. There were over 18,000 students competing and each event had 168 entries.
DECA Advisor, Sonja Weiler said, "I am proud to announce that we had two teams make it to the final round (Top 16) of the competition:

Weiler stated in her email to staff, "It has been a challenging year, to say the least. I am so proud of these hardworking young professionals who rose to the challenge, pivoted, and achieved! We have so much to be proud of!"
