ISD728 Football Halftime Admittance Policy - October 2022

ISD 728 Spectator Policy - Football Halftime Admittance

ISD 728 Students, Families and Fans,
As the ISD 728 traditional high schools in Zimmerman, Elk River and Rogers begin the football postseason, we want to provide you with an update on attendance at our home football games.
Beginning with the Section Tournament quarterfinal games Tuesday, October 25, 2022, fans will no longer be admitted to the three stadiums after ticket sales have ended, which typically occurs after halftime. As a reminder, at any point during the game, spectators who leave the stadium will not be granted readmittance to the stadium.
We realize this is a shift in practice, but both law enforcement who serve our communities at large events and school staff believe this change is, indeed, necessary in order to keep students, fans and families safe during these contests. Providing a safe learning AND playing environment remains a top priority at ISD 728.
In addition, we remind all fans of the Minnesota State High School League's (MSHSL) new fan code of conduct, as well as the District's own guidelines for fan behavior, which can be found in this video.
Additionally, Elks, Thunder and Royals faithful are reminded that student and fan activity passes are NOT accepted at any Section or State Tournament games per MSHSL policy.
