ISD 728 will welcome students and families back to school buildings at the end of August, as we prepare to kick off the 2023-2024 school year.

All students are invited to Open Houses in their school buildings for a quick tour, a visit with staff and a quick preview of the school year. Check for information from your specific school about what the afternoon/evening includes for your student(s).

Here’s a look at the Open House Schedule:

MONDAY, AUG. 21, 2023

• Elk River High School LINK Orientation – 1 to 5 p.m. Link, housekeeping and photos. 

TUESDAY, AUG. 22,, 2023

• Rogers High School LINK Orientation – 5 to 9 p.m. for incoming freshmen with parent session from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.; photos and parking permits from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for all families.  

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 23, 2023

• Zimmerman Middle School Grade 6 WEB Orientation from 2:30 to 5 p.m., Grade 6 Open House (following orientation) - 5 to 6 p.m.
• Rogers Middle School - Grade 5 Where Everyone Belongs (WEB) from 8 to noon.
• Rogers High School - photos and parking permits from 2 to 7 p.m. 

THURSDAY, AUG. 24, 2023

• Prairie View Middle - WEB Orientation for Grade 5 from 1 to 5 p.m., and Grade 5 open house from 4 to 7 p.m. 
• Salk STEM Magnet School - Grade 6 Orientation from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
• Vandenberge Middle School - WEB Orientation for Grade 6 from 8 to noon. 

TUESDAY, AUG. 29, 2023

• Otsego Elementary – 5 to 5:30 p.m. welcoming new families and suggested 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. for families last name A-K, from 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. for families L-Z.
• Ivan Sand Community School - 4 to 7 p.m. for all families. 
• Rogers Middle School – 4 to 7 p.m. for all families.
• Online 728 Elementary and Middle School - Google Meet from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. 
• Online 728 High School (full time) - Google Meet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. 
• COMPASS Program - ISD 728 District Office from 4 to 7 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 30, 2023

• Parker Elementary School – 5 to 7 p.m. for all families.
• Meadowvale Elementary – 5 to 7 p.m. (all families)
• Hassan Elementary - 5 to 7 p.m. with A-K asked to come from 5 to 5:45 p.m. and last name L-Z asked to attend 5:45 to 6:30.
• Prairie View Elementary – Last name A-K from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. and L-Z from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. 
• Rogers Elementary – 5 to 5:30 p.m. for new families and 5:30 to 7 p.m. all families.
• Twin Lakes Elementary – 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. for kindergarten and new families, 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. for all returning students.
• Westwood Elementary – 5 to 7 p.m. for all students Grade 3 through 5.
• Zimmerman Elementary – 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for all families
• Elk River High School – all grades 5 to 8 p.m. 
• Rogers High School – all grades from 5 to 8 p.m.

• Online 728 - materials pickup for all K-8 students 3:30 to 5 p.m. (check email for location)
