Zimmerman High/Middle School Auditorium Celebrates Grand Opening

grand opening The ISD 728 Community is invited to Zimmerman High School/Middle School Thursday, March 2 for the “official” ribbon cutting at our new auditorium.

This new, state-of-the art space has been on display for the past couple of months with a few community shows, but this is the first time for the public to see the auditorium up close and personal. We will have guided tours of the new space, which will show patrons our new set system, lighting and sound.

The night begins at 5:30 p.m. when the doors open at ZHS/ZMS. The program will begin promptly at 6, with a screening of a special alumni video that commemorates our past accomplishments and the excitement for the new stage. The jazz band will play a few selections following a greeting from Marco Voce, principal, after the video. Next, the ZHS/ZMS choir will perform for everyone at 6:40. The night continues with a presentation from the ISD 728 school board, the ZHS drama and speech departments and a thank you to the community and voters from our ensemble.

The night will also include artwork in the new lobby, introduction to our students and staff and, again, tours of the space after the ribbon cutting at 8 p.m.
