The ISD 728 World’s Best Workforce Plan is a comprehensive, long-term strategic plan to support and enhance teaching and learning with the ultimate goal of creating the world’s best workforce. It is intended to serve as a foundational document to align and highlight educational initiatives within the District, as well as to evidence student academic progress and success.

The District’s comprehensive strategic plan and annual report illustrate how the various existing district initiatives fit together and serve as a blueprint to create a quality workforce equipped with necessary skills for the 21st Century.  

On behalf of the ISD 728 School Board, I would like to thank our students, families, residents, staff and administration for participating in the community cafe session and for sharing their thoughts through the survey.  Your continued engagement, support, commitment, and partnership make ISD 728 a wonderful place to learn.  Because of our collaborative efforts, students and staff are inspired to excel beyond their own expectations and are performing amongst the best in the state and nation.

While student achievement continues to increase and be impressive, we still have more to do and are committed to academic success and preparedness for all children.  We must continue to work collaboratively to ensure that each and every child is well prepared for his/her postsecondary AND career experiences in what is sure to be a demanding and ever changing environment.
