ISD 728 School Board Approves 2020-2021 Calendars

The ISD 728 School Board approved the elementary and secondary calendars for the 2020-2021 School Year. 

Highlights will include: 

    • The first day of school for all students is Sept. 8, 2020. This is, according to the laws of the Labor Day Holiday, as late as school can start. 
    • The final day of school is set for June 10, 2021. Graduations will take place June 1 through June 4 (typically Ivan Sand, Zimmerman, Rogers and then Elk River). 
    • Holiday Break (Christmas, New Year’s) is set for Dec. 24 through Jan. 1, 2021. Students will return on Jan. 4, 2021. 
    • Fall Break is Nov. 23 through 27. Interesting fact – due to workshops and staff development, along with Fall Break, elementary students will only have one Friday of class in November. 
    • Spring Break is slated for March 29 through April 2, 2021.
