AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION CPR/AED

Could you save a life in an emergency? Being trained in CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator has the greatest impact on resuscitation over any other factor. Attend this class and leave knowing how to safely and effectively perform CPR and use an AED on adults, children and infants.

RESTORATIVE YOGA AND GUIDED MEDITATION SERIES FOR BEGINNERS

Calm your body and mind. Be wholly present. Explore restorative yoga postures that gently center the breath and align the body. Some poses will use props to help you relax deeper while feeling supported. Guided meditation at the end of each class will help you understand different styles and approaches to meditation. Use what you learn here to bring stillness and mindfulness to your busy life.

SOAP MAKING 101

DOG OBEDIENCE, BASICS

Learn the basics of on-leash obedience, including commands such as heel, sit, down, come, stand and stay. Handlers will learn to give commands and use praise to reward proper behavior. Fee is per dog. Puppy must be at least three months old and have begun their shot series. Bring a leash and dog treats.

CANVAS FUN: SPRING BUNNY ► GRADES K-5

Let’s celebrate spring by painting a bunny and daffodils on an 8x20” canvas with acrylic paints! We’ll lead you step-by-step through creating a work of art that will remind you of spring all year long!

Parents/Guardians: Please send permission to school on the day of the activity informing staff that your student will be staying after for a Community Education activity. After school, your student will check in with EdVenture Club and have a snack before being escorted to the activity.

MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK ► GRADES 6-8

Track offers something for everyone! You can race, hurdle, jump or throw as part of the team. Schedule includes up to three meets per season with transportation provided for the away meets. Meets are weather-permitting and may or may not be rescheduled. Schedule will be available the first week of practice.

SPRING FLING BASH ► GRADES 5-6

Join your friends for a night of games, dancing or just hanging out! Concessions are available, so bring some spending money. Student ID required at check-in. Parents, please do not drop off your child before 6:00pm, and be at the school by 8:00pm for pick-up. Drop off and pick up at Door T. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!
